The Course

Introduction

The course is approx 2.85 miles long and was first introduced in 1988; in 2024 it was slightly revised to make it safer avoiding running on the road at the bottom of Whiterose Lane. The course is run comletely on tarmac/footpaths.

Please remember that we share the park and footpaths with other people. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other users. This won't hurt your time, it won't stop you from getting a PB and it will make sure everyone continues to enjoy the event.

The Route

The run starts at 12:30pm at the bottom of the slope in to Pool in the Park. From there the route takes you through the park to the Whiterose lane exit; turning right on to the road. Follow along for approx 800m where the footpath runs out turn right down the alley way and over the Hoe Stream.

Turn left at the green metal fence and follow to the end; turning right (continuing to follow the green fence) past the allotments. At he end of this road turn left on to Rydens way continuing on to the footpath along the side of St Peters Recreation ground.

At the end of the path turn right to rejoin the Old woking Road and follow to where the road takes a sharp right and becomes the High Street. Across the roundabout following the road until the next roundabout turning right in to Kingfield Road. Enter back in to the Leisure Center on the entrance road and the finishline will be ahead.

If all has gone to plan now's the time to sprint and gain so places.
